Francesca Cavallaro D.O. M.Ost. RQ (UK)

I am an enthusiastic and passionate Osteopath who has completed a 5-year course at the International College of Osteopathic Medicine in Turin, Italy.

After which I studied at the Surrey Institute of Osteopathic Medicine, where I achieved a Master’s Degree in Osteopathy, internationally recognized as the highest academic achievement obtainable.

I relished the opportunity to improve my professional skills, whilst adapting to a new culture and a new language. I improved my communication skills, using my self-motivation and creative approach to achieve the best possible results and service for my patients. Despite English not being my native language, I successfully managed to adapt strategies to suit the specific needs of every patient I treat.

In addition, I have completed high level academic studies, including 4 years of manipulations, cranio-sacral treatment and visceral osteopathy.

My extensive clinic hours helped me to perfect my practice dealing with a variety of patients with respect to their concerns and preferences.

I am a member of the Institute of Osteopathy and enrolled with the General Osteopathic Council (GoSC), who determine the standard of proficiency required for the competent and safe practice of osteopathy in the United Kingdom.

I have always been fascinated by taking care of people but never thought I could embrace such a complete and ambitious discipline with such expertise. The high standard background of studies allows me to utilise complete patient care.

Since the beginning of my studies I have been keen to deepen my knowledge in the paediatric osteopathy field: allowing me to treat babies and children who need delicate and efficient holistic care for their early years of life: I hope I will soon be able to specialise at the Osteopathic Centre for Children, in London.
